Aye, my third day at the Romantic Times Book Lover's Convention, the sex, scandal and mayhem began! I met a very famous and well-loved author (she-who-shall-not-be-named) during my initial RT Virgin orientation and volunteered to help her with moving some of her promotional materials. As we walked down the halls of the convention center, she insisted on stopping by and hugging another well-known author (another she-who-shall-not-be-named), who…with MUCH excitement and enthusiasm…hugged my new-friend-famous author…and promptly began humping her leg with an expression of ecstasy on her face.
We all burst into laughter! It was a rather comical display and and our humping author apologized profusely for her lack of control. “I promised I would behave at this convention, and look…I've already blown it!”
This was the first of a series of humorous, fun, warm-felt and exciting meetings and events I experienced at my first RT Convention. For those of you who have never been to and RT Convention, you MUST go! Save your pennies through the year! Set a goal amount, figure out how much you have to save cheap ambien buy during each month or from each paycheck, and put that money aside. You MUST attend this event if your are an aspiring writer, published author or a reader. Why? You will learn a slew of information about the craft of writing, attend exciting balls and pool parties, and the best part for me has been meeting so many wonderful people and making life-long friends.
Imagine being surrounded by more creative energy than your little heart can handle! The smiles, the laughter, the ideas, the encouragement, the friendships formed. All of it priceless! And I can't thank all of you enough for your enthusiasm and encouragement for my artwork with Enchanted Woodz. We had successful give-aways on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for beautiful wooden items. More on that later.
I have little time to blog about this now, but I just wanted to let everyone I'm having a fabulous time. I will post more information and add pictures once I've downloaded them to my laptop from my camera and iPhone. Until then…
That's my two pence…

Great blog! This was my fourth RT and perhaps the best! Your blog captured the essence of RT – well known (but unnamed) authors who open themselves to readers. I agree that all readers should save their pennies for next year’s RT in Columbus. RT offers something for everyone – while the male models, free books, and dance parties are fun, I prefer the author panels. I enjoy hearing the authors talk about their craft. Plus the SOS Military Mixer is a loving tribute to our vets – it is inspirational to learn which readers and authors have military roots! See you in Columbus!
